Recently, the Dott Medical team traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, for a specialized smart healthcare business discussion with local service provider Chill Talk. The two parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on Thailand’s healthcare digital transformation and pathways for implementing full-cycle patient health management, reaching a strong consensus on two core solutions—home hospital bed and family doctor services. This marks a significant step forward in Dott’s overseas market expansion.

During the discussion, the head of Chill Talk pointed out a significant gap in their existing business chain: after patients are discharged, there is no standardized, systematic approach to continuous health management. Critical areas such as post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic disease follow-up, and vital sign monitoring remain disconnected—a pain point commonly faced by both public hospitals and private rehabilitation institutions across Thailand.

Addressing this core challenge, Dott showcased its integrated solution combining the OptiMed Workstation with home hospital bed and family doctor services. The complete solution bridges the “in-hospital treatment – at-home recovery” loop, perfectly filling the post-discharge health management gap. Leveraging lightweight smart terminals and an online care coordination system, the solution enables discharged patients to receive routine vital sign monitoring, physician follow-ups, at-home nursing appointments, and chronic disease interventions—all from the comfort of home. This significantly eases the burden on hospital outpatient capacity while reducing patients’ travel costs for medical visits.
Compared with traditional standalone telemedicine models, Dott’s solution is better suited to Thailand’s local healthcare environment and patient habits. During the meeting, the Dott team conducted live product demonstrations, visually presenting device operation and data management workflows, and engaged in preliminary discussions with the Chill Talk technical team on system integration architecture.

The Chill Talk team showed keen interest in the practical value of the solution. They noted that Thailand is actively promoting tiered diagnosis and treatment as well as home-based rehabilitation and eldercare. The market urgently needs localized, implementable post-discharge management products. Dott’s solution can complement and synergize with Chill Talk’s existing in-hospital health kiosk operations, forming a complete, full-lifecycle patient health service ecosystem with strong market promotion potential.
Both parties conducted detailed negotiations on technical integration, localization adaptation, joint market promotion, and business cooperation models, and tentatively agreed on the following action plan: Dott will provide complete test sample units and a technical white paper, then collaborate with Chill Talk to launch pilot implementations at local hospitals in Thailand. Leveraging Chill Talk’s local channel resources, the two sides will jointly expand into the private hospital and community rehabilitation center markets in Bangkok and other Thai cities.
This discussion lays a solid foundation for Dott to deepen its presence in the Southeast Asian smart healthcare market. Going forward, Dott will continue optimizing its overseas-adapted product versions, enhancing its home-based rehabilitation and tiered care product portfolio. Together with local Thai partners, Dott will deliver digital healthcare solutions tailored to the Southeast Asian market, contributing to the advancement and upgrading of local healthcare service systems and bringing high-quality health management services to more patients.
